This
is a beautiful filigree pair of earrings from Portugal with screwbacks
to adjust tightness. Made of lacy and fine silver work into the shape of
a rose blossom. Measures 5/8" across and .25" thick. They have a tag
attached to them which states "Made in Portugal, Silver" on one side,
and some numbers on the other side. The earrings are not stamped with
either silver content or maker, but I was told that they are sterling,
and I have subsequently tested them myself and they are indeed sterling
silver. Together they weigh 6 grams. Some tarnish which could be
polished out, but in consideration of their age, these are overall in
very good pre-owned vintage condition, flaws as noted.
